Carly’s journey as a performer started at a very young age, training as a classical dancer throughout her youth before turning her attention to theatrical and vocal performance. As her passion and talent developed she went on to University gaining her degree in Theatre and Vocal Performance. At the age of just 21 she travelled to the South of France completing her first 8 month international residency as an entertainer and since has taken every opportunity to combine her love of travelling the world and performing.
Carly splits her time in the UK working professionally as vocalist, actress, director, lecturer, creative arts practitioner, and vocal coach. Her passion for performance has seen her tour and perform extensively throughout the UK, performing at theatres, weddings, corporate events, festivals and obtaining residences at various, exclusive venues throughout the UK.
Additionally to her solo work, she also performs as lead vocalist in her own 8 piece band ‘Carly and The Kicks’.
Carly passionately delivers a unique and eclectic blend of Motown, Jazz, Disco and Funk in her energetic stage show. From the legendary sounds of Ray Charles and Etta James to that of Stevie Wonder, Jackie Wilson, Marvin Gaye, Aretha and many more! Carly’s dynamic and versatile tones will take you on a nostalgic journey through a truly spectacular, by gone era whilst blending and reworking modern classics too.
